  The location is ideal for the Birkenhead-Belfast ferry ( 5 mins). Also the Mersey tunnel. It is also directly opposite the train station into Liverpool. The hotel itself is an old building but i found it very clean with very helpful staff from reception to dining room. The food was very good,both evening dinner and a hearty breakfast. There is an... hva folk sier » elevator to all floors which is a great help as i use a cane. In summery a very good value for money. - EXcellent location, it is opposite Birkenhead Central station; I left a laptop charger in our room and the staff were very helpful when I wanted to recover it. Very convenient for the Mersey ferry and wartime German U-boat museum.
