I stayed in a single room which was extremely cosy, comfy and quiet. The cooked breakfast was very delicious. Karen, the hostess, is really friendly and will provide you all the necessary info to ensure you will have an enjoyable stay in Bath. Some people may be put off by its location cos' it takes 25 minutes to walk uphill from the train station / town centre. However I really enjoyed the walk especially in the early evening when it's so pleasant and serene. Alternatively you can take t. alle vurderinger »
The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the city, having
lived there for many years. They took to the time to make us feel
extremely welcome and informed my girlfriend and I about where was good
to visit in the city, whether it be a bar, restaurant or tourist
attraction. The 4 poster room we stayed in, was bright, clean, extremely
comfortable and had a aired of wealth about it. We had a great weekend
away and the hotel/owners played a strong part in this.
The warm friendly welcome we received made us immediately feel at home. Our room was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. The information given to us regarding bus service, bus stops and a list of eateries within the city was invaluable.Excellent host, accommodation and food, what more could anyone wish for. . Will certainly be paying a return visit in the future.
Beautiful Regency style decor, rooms felt very private with lovely views (not overlooked). Staff were warm and friendly, nothing too much trouble and were very knowledgeable about the area. Also their pets were friendly yet well behaved. Breakfasts were lovely, beautifully cooked using local produce. We loved this hotel and hope to return the next time we visit Bath.
Owners very welcoming and helpful. There is a bus stop right outside, but it is possible to walk down the hill into Bath. Very interesting property with beautifully decorated comfortable accommodation. Our room had a 4-poster bed, generous hospitality tray and decanter of sherry. Breakfast was delicious. Pets very friendly.
We loved this friendly family run guest house. They were very welcoming and made you feel at ease and that nothing was to much trouble. The choice of breakfasts were excellent and set you up for the day ahead. The bed was comfortable and the room and facilities plenty adequate.
The room was beautifully decorated, peaceful with a wonderful outlook over the garden. Karen and her husband were kind, friendly, flexible - nothing was too much trouble. They were very accommodating about dogs too. A fantastic Bath experience.
The service was excellent, the rooms nice and quiet with beautifully thought out decor and spotlessly clean.
One of the best full English breakfasts I have had for a long time. We had a wonderful two nights stay.

Leaving.
Nothing.
There were no aspects that we didn't like.
No negatives.
Was very warm, but that's OK in an old building like this and host did everything possible to ensure ventilation.
Not a thing !!.
sometimes the shower water is not very strong.
A lift would have been good as we were on the 2nd floor and found it hard to carry bags up the stairs.
Nothing.
only slight downside, not much water pressure if you want a shower.
Distance from/to downtown. (but frequent bus service with busstop in front of B&B).
As weather unusually hot, air conditioning would have been a boon!.
Nothing. I have never stayed in such a fantastic all-round hotel.
not a lot. I suppose if one had been elderly a lift would have been handy. But we weren't so it wasn't.
There is no lift, and the value for money it's not very accurated.
