Don't know from where i should start. Everything and I mean everthing was more than excellent. I booked 7 nights and extend my stay 4 nights more, check in in less than a minute, staff very helpful with big smile and all of them speak english, they will do their maximum to help u and some times help to get taxi, their efferot is really apprciated.

We (my wife and I along with our 19 years old daughter and 3 chldren, 11, 9 and 4) stayed from 18 to 23 Aug. 2013 at this wonderful hotel. All of us enjoyed the stay. The location was perfect. Close to Galata Tower and Istiklal street. The decoration and ameneties in the room were excellent. It is a hotel in a nice Turkish area, somewhat outside the Centre. So no
international tourism. Makes you feel more 'inside' Turkey,
after visiting the busy crowded touristic attractions. Staff is very
nice, rooms are perfect and clean. But, figure out where you can find it
when you use the metro. The best way to go, I think, is take the metro
from Taxim square and leave at Sisli. Leave the station and got to, or
ask for, the cemetery (you cannot see it, but it is behind a concrete

The breakfast is really good.
The location is amazing, just in taksim square, near the Marmara hotel (one minute walk) and really near to istiklal street (1 min walk), a really entertaining place. Istanbul is a wonderful city, I would like to recommend this hotel to everybody. + all the taxis are just outside the hotel and in the rooms, the windows are well made, we don't hear the noise from outside.

Nice and clean and vast rooms. The staff is helpful when you need it. The beds are comfortable, there is also a nice bathroom. The hotel is 10 min from the airport with heavy traffic which makes it perfect for travelers who will use the airport. -

Marmara Konak Old City is located in a quite place and very close to sea as well as the top 4 attractions in Istanbul. I got up early to see sunrise in the rooftop and went to Blue Mosque almost everyday during the vacation. Moreover, It's very convenient to live in this hotel as it is surrounded by many restaurants with Traditional Turkish features. If it is possible, I will live in Marmara Konak Old City again when come to Istanbul next time.

I stayed at republica, 3 days. It was very relaxing experience in a beautyfull location and helpful staff. Although, the hostel is at a distance from the city centre, public transport is easily available and affordable. Republika Buyukcekmece Aparts cannot adequately be described. It's a place one needs to experience. I was instrumental to drawing two Iranians who were guests to ENES Makina. And they liked the place. It's out of crowdy and noisy area of Istanbul. Fantastic place.
