The hotel is beautifully designed, very class with baroque-style furnishings which I love. A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

The breakfast is really good.
The location is amazing, just in taksim square, near the Marmara hotel (one minute walk) and really near to istiklal street (1 min walk), a really entertaining place. Istanbul is a wonderful city, I would like to recommend this hotel to everybody. + all the taxis are just outside the hotel and in the rooms, the windows are well made, we don't hear the noise from outside.

Clean Hotel and the location to visit Istanbul is perfect. Is hard to find a better location than this one. For a stroll, shopping, dinner is just around there. Places of interests are accsessible by public transports or Taxi in 5 to 10 minutes. I would stay anyway in that area since the good restaurants and other evening activities takes place there. Nice view from our room to Raxim square. Good and clean bed. The staff cooperative and helpful. The breakfast is included in the price, for that
