Green House Hostel is definitely the place to be in Istanbul.The staff takes care of all your needs with warm turkish hospitality.From the very beginning it felt like staying at a friends place,with full service of a hotel. Feeling safe and welcomed was very important for me,since I was travelling alone.They help you with sightseeing,provide tea,water and wifi and so much more.The rooms are clean and nice,the turkish breakfast is simple but delicious and the location is close to Taksim square,w.

Green House is conveniently located within 5 minute walk from Taksim Square - during our 2 day stay we had to use public transport just once. It is also very easy to get there from the airport, Havatas buses leave every half an hour and drop you off almost at the hostel. 4 person apartment was clean and good value for money. And the staff... You have to go to see for yourself how nice and friendly they are. Thanks Ania & Talat for . All the staffs from Green House is very kind, harmonious and friendly, even l got a trouble need some advice. I am special thanking GH for the support that you have shown during my bad time. The room was clean and there was even a hanger on the balcony for your laundry. The common room was in a basement, but very comfortable. The location was good if you choose to stay in Taksim area in Istanbul, only five minutes walking to Taksim square and it was located in a side road, meaning it was quiet at night. Value for money!. Only positive comments for greenhouse hostel. The hostels had been perfect if they had had little reading lights over the beds. Quadruple room is very small, however it's enough if just for sleeping. Besides we spent most of the time to explore the beauty of Istanbul. bathroom was small. After booked the bunk, I have send 3emails to hostel asking how to get the hostel, but nobody reply, so i walking around 2hours around Taksim to hostel, maybe i am not good at to find a place.... the toilet of the first floor had problem but i always used the second floor toilet. Currently, surrounding area is under reconstruction and it's not as convenient as it's supposed to be (it's temporary though). No elevator, small spaces. confort. The room was not so clean as we expected. When we saw in letsbookhotel.com that the grading was 8.2 and all the comments mentioning that it was clean, we were unhappy to find out that the towels had marks on them from previous uses, also the sheets had marks too and the bathroom was not clean. Luckily I took with me wet hankies and I cleaned it all by myself. The room is not comfortable at all, it is small and crowded,. I lived in a mixed room, It is not good at all to stay in the same room with girls, and some times with couples at the same room, IYKWIM. The images doesn't describe the hostel at all. The WC was full of water leaking (It may be temporary). I got bitten by bed bugs! All over my face and arms and legs. Staff dealt with it promptly, however insisted that it was an allergy (I've never been allergic to anything in my life). But they did take me to a pharmacy and spray/clean the room immediately. no towels, small and uncomfortable bathroom, not so clean (I saw a cockroach). Clean buta bit ran down, need some renovation.. shower. very small room,shared comfort and wash room that was not mentioned in room description.
