Last week I was in Meir Jarr and here are my comments.
First the hotel is clean and organized.Rooms are clean and the room service is really good.
Second the staff were friendly :) I didn't have problem understanding them(english) like most of the people say.
Plus the location of the hotel is really good. The parallel street is the Patong beach so

The hotel location is absolutely perfect, the the design is modern and good as well as clean and tidy.
The front desk staff especially the lady and the guy who was their when i checked in was very great and friendly as well as can understand me well when i spoke to them in english. The lady who check in was very accommodating and indeed appreciate much for upgrading me. Thier swimming pool view along with the bar is perfect,,,kinda romantic and clean too.
Over all, recommendable.

This hotel was great for a bunch of friends sharing. The room was very big. The pool was very clean. The mod cons in the room kitchenette, tables and chairs, armchairs, great hot shower and led TV made it all feel like home. I'd say it was suitable for families too as it had everything you needed to make you comfortable (utensils, glasses plates etc).

The hotel was rather new and the facilities were among the best I've ever had - definitely on par with other big names out there, at only a quarter of their price. Staff were very attentive, and the restaurant was top quality. Excellent location too, with the beach and the biggest shopping centre within walking distance. -

We liked everything! Starting from meeting and picking us up from the
airport, finishing with all the small details. We even had a problem
with our comming flingt, so after few calls staff arranged everything

I have stayed many hotels in patong at a budget price and this hotel is with out doubt the best , the staff are so friendly the breakfast is great with a good selection , the rooms are a good size, not poky , they have renovated the pool ares which is beautiful and private and quiet set back from the road away from noise , set in a lovely tropical gardens and large verandas and garden area to each room.
