Villa Alanta is a very nice Bali style villa. Great lay out, fantastic personnel, owner who contacted us during our stay via e-mail to make sure that we were fine. We rented 2 scooters (family with 2 kids of 9/6) to explore the island. If you are looking for real comfort Alanta Villa is a great choice. -

Very new, nice and clean room/bungalow with a good bed. Loved the small terrace with hammock in front of the bungalow. The restaurant, where also breakfast is served, is just next to the sea (at least at high tide). Nice swimming pool. Overall the hotel is just beautiful. Good location at Khlong Kong beach with great restaurants and most creative beach bars (beautifully illuminated at night and you get to them by just walking along the beach starting from the hotel. This hotel was very good in terms of staff, facilities, cleanliness, comfort, value for money and location, The two elderly ladies who were probably the owners were very courteous and kept track of all the guests personally on a daily basis during our stay. Though the in-house restaurant was closed during our stay we did enjoy a good breakfast every morning, which was included in the tariff. The staff also helped us with information on and booking of local tours and hiring scooters.

Booked for 1 night stayed for 5! Stunning Bungalows, with a hammock on
the balcony near the Beach, I read a review sating it was to far from a
nice beach which is crazy! Your on the beach front in Minutes. Yes you
had the odd lizard in your room but its all part of the Charm and for
the Price you cant really complain. The Manager was amazing! She was so
helpful anything we needed she sorted it out instantly, I have never met

Right at the beach. Breakfast was good as well. It's a quiet place. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
This is a big resort, filled with almost exclusively Swedish families who are obviously staying here for awhile. If you hate children, this is not where you want to be. -
