We liked the hotel's location in the Ratchadaphisek area.It is within a short walking distance to the Central Plaza Rama9 and also Tesco Lotus which has a nice and clean food court offering reasonably priced local food.There are also plenty of interesting restaurants and cafes. Chatuchak market is also a few mrt stops away. The price we paid for the room was good value for money: the room was clean & spacious w' a small built in sofa as well as a small dinning table.Bath amenities even incl.
alle vurderinger » We had a lovely stay in Tanatawey for 6 nights. Rooms are very well cleaned every day. There is a variety of choices for breakfast and they are delicious. I am mostly impressed by the service we have been received at the reception desk. All the receptionists speak good English and are extremely friendly and helpful. Overall we are very satisfied with Tanatawey and would love to come back again. Stayed here because it's a nice hotel close to where my girlfriend works. The food in the restaurant was very good and it's a bit of a challenge to find as nice a place close by. We had a change of plans as my gf's brother died and we needed to leave early. Call letsbookhotel.com in a case like this; with their help it was no hassle leaving early even though we'd booked a longer stay. Excellent service from reception people, delicious foods, good location, clean room with related stuff, everyday house keeping. shuttle bus to MRT. Friendly Staff. Nice local surrounding. You can find food easily. Not too hard to reach the MRT, and they do provide tutu. they have now own free of charge Tuk-Tuk service between Hotel and MRT-Station Rama9. Having to fiddle with 2 different locks in one door!. 1. There is no boiler, nor complimentary tea. 2. If you wish to join a one/two days tour, you may have to find the info elsewhere, in Khao Shan Road, for example. 3. Even after reading a map, most taxi drivers have no clue how to get to the hotel. We have to call the reception and have someone explained to the taxi driver. Breakfast was included but it was a funky deal. Like you could have eggs but if you wanted coffee that's extra. You got to pick one item off the menu but anything else they charged you for. not easy to find when first visit, it's a long run from MRT to hotel with baggage per Google map's instruction, but then find a shortcut. Late checkout Fee is expensive. Its still a good 10 plus minutes walk to the nearest MRT. Breakfast buffet was not really a full buffet. You choose the main breakfast set and the buffet is only for the coffee, and toasted bread.
