this hotel is well decorated and very quiet, beds are really comfortable, there is silence all night long oustide and inside... the breakfast is good (corn flakes, toast, jam, coffee, milk and hot chocolate). a real pleasure to get back every evening after visiting !. The bed and living room were really comfortable, a very friendly staff and she could understand English -also that she was so kind and helpful. Located really near from the BTS-MRT Asok (7mins walking). Hommy, clean, and cheap. This hostel is exceptional.
alle vurderinger » I love the design of House23, very simple but minimalism. Location is good,near the Terminal 21 shopping center, Asok and Sukhumvit train station. It’s more like a B&B than a Hotel. Staff's english is not that good but very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness, comfort, conditions and location. Staff were friendly but had very limited English. Very good value for money. Very close to nightlife. Good for backpackers who want to have a lovely clean an comfortable bed for the night with air con. Nice garden patio in front.Homely living room style reception with kitchen pantry.Comfortable soft bed with thick blanket.Quiet location off the main road of soi 23 and a short walk to the busy junction of Asok BTS and MRT. Everything was relatively new and well-maintained. The bathrooms in particular were very clean. Staff were friendly and helped out with any queries. Amazing prices for the location and the quality. It's very clean and the common room downstairs is very cozy. The location was good, close to the skytrain and Terminal 21 shopping mall. As cozy as family. Clean & quiet. All the stuffs are nice. Excellent. The location was very gut and one lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. She was one of the owners. The staff was very honest. After loosing my tablet computer at night not knowing where, because we came from a party, it was at the reception desk in the morning. It was also very quiet except for the first night when there was a loud karaoke bar. Location was convenient and the place was tidy. Location. Close to trains, bars and restaurants. it's a little expensive: i think that a double room in another place would be the same price than a bed in dormitory in this hotel... but you pay for tranquility !. Only the breakfast actually, it was only a low quality bread and a fair cereal + milk, and they only have strawberry jam. But breakfast was free after all, so couldn't complain right? ;). It’s a bit hard to find it especially when you were carrying heavy suitcase. Staff’s English is not that good but very helpful. Breakfast is very simply just white bread and instant coffee which had to be made by yourself. Was wandering around for ages as I couldn't find it, not very obvious signage and none of the locals had heard of it. Breakfast was meagre, although expected at the price. A few more options to spread on toast would have been nice. Breakfast was very poor. Just a toast with chemical marmelade, muesli pack and some milk. none. nothing. inconvenient shower, couldn't connect to wifi for a while. One of the female staff members had no concept of customer service or general etiquette towards people. She didn't make us feel welcome and never smiled. In fact the only time she spoke to us was when it was about getting more money. This is sad considering the other girl with the short hair was so helpful and friendly. Rooms are little small. We didnt know before that our bathroom was not in our bedroom, so we had to cross the floor each time we wanted to use the bathroom. One lamp in our room was broken and we couldnt lock our bathroom door but they fixed it immediately. All in all it had the feeling of a youth hostel. The cable tv wasnt convenient, nearly all channels were not in English. Rude staff. Breakfast was bad. You should certainly get better for the price. Ambiente missing. Bathroom is not in the room, internet on and off, TV didn't work the first night. Not much of English channels. Hard bed. This a place for basic needs. Fair value for the money but we didn't like the bathroom cross the hall. Fells like a home stay. The location is very difficult to find. I forgot my iphone charger after I contacted them and ask to pick it up the next day they said it was not in the room, which is a lie.
