  We very much enjoyed our six nights at the Art Hotel Stella in Lugano. It is an easy 5 minute walk from the Lugano train station, which is on a hill above the central old town district and Lake Lugano. A ten minute walk leads to the Parco Del Tassino with great views of the lake and the mountains that ring it. The hotel was very comfortable. Breakfast consisted of excellent coffee, freshly baked bread, and a reas - Small hotel with very good service and nice rooms. Central location near the railwaystation, but without disturbing noice. Side road with little traffic. Simple but tasteful breakfast. Only 5 min walk to the city center. Lovely nature around the city.

  It was my second stay at the Splendid Royal in the last two months and it definitely is the best hotel in Lugano.Their restaurant is the best in town and the staff is very profesional.I really enjoyed my stay there. - Everything! Great staff, friendly and professional. Rooms are perfect, with great view. We'll go back there for sure!

  One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff were incredibly nice and attentive. Especial details such as candies in the lobby, apples and even the fact that they changed the rugs in the elevator with the day of the week printed. The girls in the reception were extremely helpful especially the one who helped me find the nearest phone shop ... hva folk sier » and the one that suggested the outlet in Mendrisio - We arrived early, but were promptly given rooms. While they finalized they details, we were given coffee and biscuits. Service was excellent. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were all very pleasant. We felt like we had the run of the house. I visited with friends for a girl's get away, but will definitely return with my husband and daughters!

  Huge and amazing apartment. We stayed at the garden floor one, the big one. Extremely fun. Wireless works great. The owner doesn't know english at all, so either you know Italian or some other Euro language, or be ready to use Google Translate.
