Wonderful place to stay. Great spa facilities. A spectacular location right on the lake with a private beach. The breakfast was fantastic and the hotel staff genuinely nice. Highly recommended! -

The hosts were very caring and considerate. They made us feel at home in all possible ways.
The farm is on a small hill top and overlooks a beautiful valley of farms. The balconies have a superb view.

What do you need when going to Switzerland? Lakes, mountains, green fields, kind and helpful owners? If you're looking for this, then this house is for you!!! We felt real Swiss spirit while staying there! Balcony has a superb view to Pilatus mountain and Lucern lake, apartment was large with everything you need. The hotel staff was very helpful, they picked us from the train station and gave us rides to town on a few days. They also organized the stay for our 1yr old daughter well with baby cot in the room and baby chair always waiting at our table. View from the hotel is fantastic. -

Young reception and breakfast staff were so lovely. We were on the top floor in a lovely timber-lined room and we could hear cow bells from the balcony. Views of the mountains. Lift only went to the floor below so we had to climb a set of stairs with suitcases to get to the room. Free parking at the back of the hotel was great. My husband and daughter went up the cable car to the top of the mountain.

Hotel Edelweiss was fantastic. We were met at the train station by Suzanne, owner, and taken to the hotel. All the staff were friendly and very happy people. If in Engelberg, I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It's not only for the warmth shown by the owners (Kuhn family), its a kids friendly hotel. It is less than 10 mins walk from the station, but with luggage it is not possible to walk (steep roads).... the staff is ever ready to escort to / from the station in their vans (they just need to be informed). A nice view from the balconies + the church bell sound every hour, gives a superb feeling............
