Staff were friendly and most helpful. I stayed there so I could have an early start on driving over the St. Gotthard Pass then over the Furka Pass and on to the Valais. Arrived at the end of a long day's drive to a warm and friendly welcome and an excellent supper. Couldn't have asked for more.
The room was basic but clean and functional, and in any case this is a budget hotel. Downsides? Not really. Decor is a little dated but well maintained and it has character that you don't find in chain hotels.
In all, a nice, welcoming family hotel and a great place to break a journey and have a good meal. Highly recommended.

Yes, it's old and a little run down, but staff were very friendly,
the internet worked just fine, and by Swiss standards, it's a good
deal. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the gondola, and about the same to
the train station. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, really went out of their way to be accommodating. Although the building itself is old, rooms and ensuite bathrooms are modern; comfy beds, decent showers etc.

Glorious location with views across Lake Lucerne. Room was very clean and bright with a nice balcony and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was again very clean and the shower was powerful and hot.
