  Great location, directly at the lake. We could walk everywhere, trainstation was close. The lake view from the balcony was great. Good breakfast, with many choices of bread, croissants, yoghurt... The pool looked nice, but we didn't have enough time to try it. The rooms were beautiful and while the WCs and bathing facilities were on the hall, with only four rooms per floor, it simply felt like you were staying I someone's home. We were treated as family from start to finish. The rooms were spacious and bright with unbelievable views of the city, lake and mountains. The view from the lake view rooms is so breathtakingly beautiful it is worth the extra amount for those rooms.   Jim was so great! He's such a nice person! He gave us some nice tips to hike in the Valle Maggia. Also he borrowed us some bikes to go to Ascona. The pool and the garden are so great! The rooms are very comfortable and the loft is an experience! He also served a nice breakfast.
