  An easy 25 minute walk from the main railway station, or you can catch tram 12 which goes just near the hotel. We walked the distance both ways with our luggage and found it pleasant walk, but this I guess does depend on the amount of luggage... Catch the small lift to sixth floor and turn left a - Very good location in Old Town but rounded by trams that take you to every place in the city, also to the frontier with France. Further, you cross the Mount Blanc Pont and there is the Train Station (Cornavin) from where you depart to the airport (next station) and to many places in Switzerland and other countries. This is my second time in this hotel and would go back again in case I return to Geneva.

  My opinion may be biased as I think that I got the best room in the hotel: a spacious, nicely furnished, including an old stove, stylish corner-room with a small annex and with a wonderful view on the river. It was fascinating just to sit there and watch the traffic on the bridge in the night (better than tv!). The building is rather peculiar as apparently it hosts both hotel's guests and - Having been appalled at the high prices and low standards in other hotels in Geneva this one was a big improvement though still expensive even by Swiss standards (but that’s Geneva!). It's 10 to 15 minutes walk from the station and there are trams and buses that you can use though it’s often as quick to walk. Breakfast here starts at 7.15 which seemed a bit late to me compared with elsewhere but staff were very helpful and will make up a breakfast tray if you need to leave earlier plus there is

  All the staff were good and the the male manager/proprieter was exceptionally helpful and freindly. I felt very welcome at the hotel and will certainly stay there again when next I visut Geneva - Friendly staff

  I stayed here because the other hotels were outrageously expensive during the week in Geneva and there were 2 UN conferences so much was booked out. It turned out to be fine. I booked a double room, as that was all that was available, and thus had actually a corner room with 3 windows and plenty of space. The hotel is plain and functional. The location near the train station is excellent so easy - The location is very central. Close to the lake, so with just a few steps, you can have a fantastic view of the lake. Price is a value for money (considering how Switzerland is very expensive) because the room is very comfortable to stay in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Do ask them for a city bus pass cause that helped us a lot!

  It's an Ibis, so you can usually guarantee that you'll be reasonably comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient, the room was very clean and comfortable, and a good size. (Got a Smart Deal with letsbookhotel.com). Compared to the general cost of hotels in Geneva it was a fair price (but nothing's cheap in Switzerland).
