  We used the hotel as a halfway stop on way home to UK. Very clean and tidy as we have found with all hotels we stay at in Switzerland. Good food and atmosphere, the restaurant / bar is the main meeting place for the town so it has a buzz about it.   We only stayed one night on a stop-over on a driving holiday en-route to Switzerland/Italy. The room was large and clean. Staff very friendly, breakfast good. - one of the best hotels ive ever stayed in, i could not fault it in any way :)

  In Switzerland, anything that cuts the outrageous cost is good and self catering helps a lot. The Studio appartment had everything but a kettle though the coffee maker provided hot water for tea.   We arrived at Hotel Sonne late evening and the hotel was lit up like a Christmas Cottage, we were cycling from the UK to Rome. My first thought was, this will do nicely. The hotel looked after our every need, they stored our bicycles securely and tended to all our requirements without hesitation.
