  We stayed here 5 days in one of the family suites--a corner room with a large bed and two bunk beds. The views of Lake Maggiore and the lush vegetation were breathtaking from all vantage points. We slept at night with the windows flung open, enjoying the tropical breezes and the occasional showy thunder and lightning storm. Breakfast on the terrac... hva folk sier » e was a glorious spread. The staff was kind and helpful. We greatly appreciated the small fridge in the room, which allowed us to store drinks and sna - Stayed there 2nights and one day going south. We had a marvellous view from our room over the lake. It was a spacious family room with a balcony and a nice terrace. Great breakfast (included fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli, different kinds of bread, etc. ) Small kids playground, and a tiny place down at the lake where you can swim. During the day we went to Ascona on the lake side where we rented a pedalo (waterfiets) with slide for an hour. Kids (6 and 8) thought they were in paradise!

  The staff were excellent and welcomed us even when we arrived close to their deadline. Excellent location, a short walk into Ascona where there are lots of restaurants beside Lake Maggiore.   They have given us a well-prepared baby travel crib for our little one in our room, which has included a bed sheet, a duvet and a pillow for our 8 months old daughter!   I was only there for 2 nights in late November so it was cold any rainy. The hotel was very welcoming, cozy and warm. Wonderful staff, lovely room and a nice breakfast.
