The staff here were amazing, friendly and we couldn't have asked for more from them. Even though it was quite late when we arrived, they cooked us a lovely meal. The room was clean, immaculate and the bed was so comfy compared to other hotels in Sri Lanka. We arranged a Tuk Tuk to take us to the airport (10 minutes) as we had a very early flight which cost 500 rupees which was cheap, also the owner got up at 3am to help us with our baggage to the Tuk TUk which was very nice. Great value for money, staff flexibility, close to Negombo Intntl airport serve Colombo. I arrived at 03:00 in the morning and they received us well, the following day I was flying out and the didnt have the rigid check out time they let us stay in the room till 18:00 withou making an extra charge which I found to be very very considerate of them. We stayed overnight and we were very pleased with the stay. The room and bathroom was very clean and staff very polite. The place is very near to the airport and is suitable for anyone who wants the convenience of being close to the airport.I will definitely recommend Neo holiday home to anyone.Keep up the good work. Very useful transit hotel for Colombo Airport. Facilities very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Taxi ordered for 2.30am came promptly and for 1000 rupees(£5) good value. Food was also good value,with choice of different cultures and tasty but not gourmet.English spoken well.. Really impressed. Close to airport and Liangemulla train station (1 hour by Commuter directly from Colombo Fort or Maradana Stations. But be aware of train availability - check timesheet!). Don't know if hotel has any control over this. Very little. Nothing special. An ordinary transit Hotel. Before arrival asked some questions through their website - no reply! Very expensive tuktuk if you ask the staff. 300 meters away on the main motorway - twice cheaper. Plus public bus to the airport (stops ab 500m from airport terminal at bus station). No restaurants close around. Dark but quiet surroundings. Price for airport pick-up is high (1500 rupees), I have paid 1000 rupee for a taxi from the airport, but it is possible to pay even less, because the hotel is too close to the airport. There is not a single negative point to find for this hotel. Dinner was good but it took an age to be served as did the beer. Regarding the suttle survice from the airport, it would have been better if you provided me more information in advance. One of the 4 rooms is not good as others as has WC direcly in the room with the walls of the 2 meters high lasting till the ceiling, so the smell will go directly to the living room. It's a little bit hidden and we had difficulty finding it. Hotel was difficult to locate. Builders chucking metal onto roof of room.No noise insulation. That they booked me a tuk tuk that I found quite expensive. It was raining a lot on the day I stayed there and the room was not well sound proof. Also saw some hair on the bathroom floor but just a few. Nothing. This hotel is fabulous if you want to stay close to the airport, but quite a distance from Colombo (tuktuk 1500LKR).
