Servicen var meget god. Det var meget god frokost, og restauranten var også svært bra. Det var også bra parkeringsmuligheter. Det gikk flott å ha med baby. - The staff was incredibly helpful at all times and made us feel welcome. - lots of sight-seeing and hiking - The roof and staff were superb!

The apartments were very modern and private, overlooking the valley on the outskirts of San Sebastián. We specifically chose the location because we had a car we didn't want to use in the city and parking was free. The apartments were close to a bus stop with regular buses taking about 15 minutes to reach the centre of the city. The reception staff were very helpful in assisting us with a damage report we needed to fax to the leasing company.

The owner was superlative in every way, trained in hospitality with a
wealth of experience and knowledge about how to run a hotel business. He
is smart, resourceful, really cared about his guests, and speaks English
beautifully. The rooms were each beautifully and individually decorated
with taste, a mini fridge, some with balconies, situated in the old and

Colegio Mayor Olarain was a real breath of fresh air after a couple of
depressing budget hotel rooms--a big, airy dorm room with big windows
and lots of space. Breakfast was good too. But best of all was the
staff. While in San Sebastian I fell, cut myself badly, and needed
stitches. Next day I was concerned about the wound and staff drove me to
a clinic to get checked out. Wonderful people here.

They sorted out my diet, helped us to book train tickets on line, helped to sort out the aftermath of a minor accident, were always very friendly...in short wonderful. The hotel was clean and modern, the room was good and comfortable, the breakfast was good- all in all very good value and highly recoemended.

The staff were very friendly and spoke English. We chose this hotel as we were arriving by car and didn't want to drive right into the city centre. The walk into town only takes 10-15 mins. We also loved the movie theme of the hotel and got the Bob Hoskins room. The rooms have DVD players and you can hire for free, movies from the hotel to watch, so we thought this was pretty cool. Can't comment on the breakfast as we went an ate elsewhere.

Great place. 5 min walk to kursal palace and 10 min to bretxa market. The difference between a holiday inn room and this one is the name of the hotel and the size of the room (this one is smaller).
