  Location was really good, short walk from the sea front. The tram into Alicante was only 1-45 euros and frequent. - It was very peaceful with a lovely pool and friendly pool bar staff.

  This turned out to be a great family-run hotel with nice and English-speaking staff, perfect wi-fi in the room (ask for a room with a good wi-fi connection though if you require one as not all rooms provide it). We also asked for a quiet room, and indeed we were given a very quiet room, clean and tidy, and with very good wi-fi. The location is als... hva folk sier » o great – very close to the main plaza and the beach! There was a supermercado next to the hotel as well (although closed on Sundays). So, we definite - Greatly situated down town, rooms are very clean as well as bathroom, small balcony on the corner is very nice, windows on two side is great, personal service, nice and honest staff, a family run hotel, only 500 m to the beach, supermarket on the next corner as well as ATM and short walk to the city central, restaurants and take-away food in short distance, really budged friendly! I would recommend Hotel Cano and I will be back! Thank you !

  Apartment was basic but clean with large balcony and great views. Near shops and entertainment 10mins to beach. Laura at gestalur office was friendly and helpful. - Equidistant from the beach, old town and lively new town which meant all areas were no more than a 10 minute walk.

  The big trick is finding it in the windy streets. Do as the locals do -squeeze up To a wall, allowing other cars past. We found parking near the city wall, and in the Plac St Jean, 2 streets down. Friendly staff, good Wi-fi, great views, good breakfast - we mastered this village in half an hour - Beautiful views from our room.   Cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for. Staff in the office were very friendly and a great location if you're young and planning on hitting the bars at night - Close to the square, large rooms & balcony, staff from Gestalur were very helpful

  We really liked everything except we had a small concern over breakfast. SAX itself, is no great place and we stayed at the hotel because of the Moors and Christian Festival at Villena 10kms away. It's difficult to know why people would stay here otherwise, except for business. Its on the main Alicante to Madrid road, too close to Alicante and too... hva folk sier » far from Madrid. There is no doubt, however, that the hotel is very good and we would have liked to have eaten in the Restaurant, which the menu woul - ...the food, rooms and the staff, the location was good,I could not not fault the HOTEL, I will come back again, your standards are very much near 4 star, rather 3 star.
