The staff is very friendly and helful and rooms look like normal hotel rooms. The accomadations were really great in terms of price/quality. Everything was clean and we had this room facing the street with a little balcony, just great. The location is the best you can have, being 5 minutes way from Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol, Mercado de San Miguel, Gran Via, etc. Definetly the place to stay whenever we go to madrid.

  The location was right down in the city and close to many sights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the building was of the old architecture, which was charming. We would recommend Hostal Sardinero to anyone wanting to stay right in the heart of Madrid. - Superb location in beautiful side-street within easy walking distance of all the major sights. It was lovely to feel that we were in the heart of Madrid. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome even though we arrived very late after a delayed flight. Room very comfortable. There was some noise on Friday and Saturday nights from people in the street but no traffic noise.

  Very nice, modern hotel. The room was very spacious. Toilet was big: there's separate toilet and a nice shower. Next to it is a little cloakroom. All these partitioned next to the bedroom. Location of hotel is very convenient - It was a pleasant surprise to stay at an art showcase hotel: what an inspiration.   Really comfortable apartments!! We had everything we needed for our stay and they are perfectly located if you want to enjoy the real Madrid in 'La Latina' district! Carlos was extremely nice and helpful to us also! Highly recommended! - Good service from Carlos who met us on arrival and gave us lots of tips of places to see in the city.
