Location was excellent, a very very short walk from the Puerta del Sol. Very very very good value for the price.
Place was clean, and everything worked fine. Staff was very hospitable.
Honestly I've stayed at better places, but I certainly enjoyed my stay, and have no real complaints. Would certainly stay here again. -

Clean and comfortable room. Helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Its location near the pedestrianized area around the Plaza Mayor makes it very quiet. Just perfect for a stay in Madrid for some night close to everything. A bit small room, but always very clean and newly restaurated. Very silent, as long as the window is closed. Noisy city outside! Shower with instant hot water. Fridge that works perfect. Good elevator.

Victoria is just steps away from sol in Madrid; it's a perfect
location for restaurants and shops (and Metro) and wanting to be where
it's all happening. The price is good--actually it's excellent--
considering the location. The room (we were in room 8 just down the hall
from check-in) was very quiet. And given how the building seems old and
dark, the room was amazingly clean.

It's all about location. Within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go in Madrid. On a side street, so no noise from traffic. Huge number of eating and drinking possibilities in the immediate area. The covered market just around the corner is great for tapas and wine.
