  Friendly and very helpfull front desk staff. Great breakfast with a good selection of food. The room, although a tad on the small side was very clean. It was quiet for the most part. Guests were prone to slamming bedroom doors though, which in the early hours was a bit irritating.   The hotel was excellent, clean and a very good price. Staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Hotel is in the centre of Madrid so when you go behind the corner, you are immediately in the shopping streets. We highly recommend this hotel and will visit again when we'd go back to Madrid!   The proprietor/manager, Eddie Stella, was extremely helpful and accomodating. He stayed up till 2am to check us in when we were driving up from Sevilla. The location of the apartments is absolutely the best in Madrid. It has onsite parking with direct elevator access to the apartments/rooms - a rarity with many apartments in Europe.
