  extremely friendly and very central to everything. A 5 minute walk to Las Ramblas. Lauren and staff at Somnio were the most helpful hotel staff I´ve ever encountered. They loaned us a guide book and answered our many questions. The room/bathrooms were spotless. we arrived before check in time, and they allowed us to use the bathrooms for shower... hva folk sier » s etc, and leave our luggage. highly recommend. - First, the hostel is not so far from the public transportation, i.e., the metro station. Second, since it seems to be renovated recently, the facilities are quite new. Moreover, my room is comfortable and quiet in the night. The shared bathroom is also clean. Finally, the staff are friendly, and the most attractive feature for me is the free wireless internet access.

  This is a brand new hostel, you can literally smell the paint from the walls very nice and large common area it is located perfectly, very close to some famous Gaudi houses and Catalunya square. A railwaystatioj connecting to the airport is a 5 minute walk, the tube station is even less WiFi works fine (watched a live stream w/o any interruptions)... hva folk sier » - I am pleased to tell that our family were very happy for the stay. The hotel stuff was reasonable friendly, but it was enough, all our questions were answered. The place is just great, you could easily reach Sagrada Familia or la Rambla by foot. The kitchen was clean an cauzy.

When we arrived we were given an in/out pass for a nearby underground parking lot (45E for 4 days approx.)   Definitely the location + the kindness of the lady who was taking care of the space. She is so friendly and so helpful. You kind of feel yourself sharing home with 'old friends' and not really in a hostel. I only stayed over for a night but it was enough to feel the spirit of the place.
