  Pensio 2000 was a real find. Help yourself tea/coffee/cakes and water, all gratis. Even had lovely white dressing gowns provided. An international crossroad location with great mix of people too! Opposite the Music School in fabulous old building. Orlando himself was extremely friendly, welcoming, knowledge and helpful. Nothing was too much troubl... hva folk sier » e. No parking or lift but worth the effort. Great value for money but shame it rained! - Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. In winter, el borne is a better place to be close rather than since la rambla. The staff has made really nice improvements and facilities in the hotel, that's nice. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

  I stayed for 4 nights whilst on business and am of the age whereby I want to stay in hostels for the environment and experience whilst meeting people around my age group. The location was perfect for my commute into work and the metro line is at the top of the street near the basilica. The rooms are what you expect in a hostel, I slept well ever... hva folk sier » y night and I will stay again. On my next stay I will try and book a private room, it's a shame you don't have more to choose from. My only idea for - First of all would like to say that staff is great, they are very cool, and have good music taste!)) Also girls always kept the hostel very clean. Location is good, right next to La Sagrada Familia, and not far from the very centre of Barcelona.

  Pepe and his wife were really helpful and gave us excellent specific advice especially on where to go and how to travel with young children and held onto our luggage after check out as we had a late flight. This enabled us to get the most out of our stay without the children getting too tired. Excellent distance from metro, supermarket and cafes/r... hva folk sier » estaurants. Apartment was very comfy and stylishly decorated without having to be too precious about it and everything was thought of that we could ha - Location is great: 2 min walking from Girona metro station, 7 min walking from Passeig de Gracia metro/train station. Also walking distance to Ramblas de Catalunya. Excellent for shopping, restaurants, caffe'-s and more of "real" Barcelona. Apartments look exactly like in the picture: modern, super clean, neat, new, well equpied. (a new building behind an old facade) Staff is super friendly, helpful and clear on all the costs/options. I will stay there again.

  I'm not sure why they call this a hostel? I felt like it was more an inn. The attention to details were very nice. Greeted with a glass of Sangria upon arrival. Chocolate on your night stand. Easy access to ev - Was looking for a last minute booking for weekend trip to Barcelona & chose L' Antic Espai due to reviews. Happily I can only agree & add to the positive vibe - it was a perfect little room (little is true but it was ample), brilliant location, amazing breakfast and fantastic staff, Danny in particular living up to his online reputation. Our trip would not have been as blessed without his knowledge & help. Highly recommended
