  Staff at Reception was extremely helpful and friendly. As I was travelling alone, the fact that the room was so close to reception, was great. The lodge is located superbly - close to town, but still with all the lovely views of the mountains (which was covered with snow the next morning)! - everything, lovely stay will recommend it to people, so... hva folk sier » accomodating with early check in, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. breakfast was great, very pleasant stay overall!

  After a day on the road coming to the "Vineyard" is like paradise. We were upgraded to the garden suite at no further cost and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Literally 10 minute drive from Stellenbosch and 3 minutes away from Somerset West this is a good location for outings - or just to relax in the lovely garden and on the spacious pool. A really... hva folk sier » good choice to stay. Garden and House are well cared for and could be just out of "House & Garden". Our host Teresa is a happy recipient of your - Outstanding. Theresa and Coete are utterly charming hosts: they gave me medicine and helped nurse me when I had sunstroke, gave my wife a blanket to keep her warm at the rugby and lent us their gps to get there. Beautiful accommodation, really comfy bed and option to dine on site. More like staying with friends than a B&B.
