We loved our stay in the upper deck at the Boathouse. The room was spacious, well designed and very comfortable. We had an amazing view over the bay from our private balcony and all of the amenities that we needed (kettle, fridge etc). The best thing of all was the owners, Therese and Lud, who were incredibly friendly, helpful and interesting.

The owners were lovely and helpful, couldn't do enough - (fresh choc muffins in room each day). Accommodation was great, we stayed in family "apartment" which was ideal space. Loved the games room and swimming pool (but would be even better in summer!). Ideal base to visit both city (capetown) and coast (sharks, whales, cape point). Would love to come back for longer!

We were made to feel welcome from the start. The guest house was very much a 'boutique hotel' rooms were designed with a lot of thought, beautiful views of the bay & hills from the picture window.

The fabulous personal attention to detail, the heated bathroom floors and towel rails on a really chilly day. Bruce left a pullover on his bed and John took the trouble to meet us at the airport to return it. Talk about going the extra mile.
