i especially loved the homeliness of it. good value for money and no rigid rules. i liked the little things like a bottle of spring water everyday in the fridge, a little caraf of sherrie on the housew and other little things that are on the house. it has privacy but also an opportunity to mix with fellow guests at the breakfast table. and the equipment in the room is fantastic: dstv, a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, stove and even a washingmachine. i would certainly reccomend it and go .
alle vurderinger » Exceptionally spacious, tastefully decorated rooms with a full range of facilities which (for the room I was allocated) including an en suite bathroom, full kitchen and private open air courtyard. Friendly efficient staff (and two friendly lap dogs in the outdoor reception area). Excellent freshly prepared, cooked breakfast. Convenient location for southern suburbs, city bowl. Exactly what we required, clean, good breakfast, friendly staff, we stayed for basically 1 week and had no problems. I can recommend Glenhaven, Host friendly and helpful. Had a few questions before hand and she answered all to my satisfaction. Walking distance from shopping etc. I like about Glenhaven which give me a homely feel when i am there. the room are very clean and kitchen is very accessible allow me to relax at the sofa for my snacks and tea... Happy for my 5 days stay.... Jen is the most hospitable person ever. I highly recommend Glenhaven to everyone! I won't stay anywhere else when I am in the Newlands/Claremont area. Sue was a wonderful host. The atmosphere was very friendly and family oriented. The location is great and the neighborhood is very attractive. It worked well for me as Conference and Exam were at Southern Sun Hotel. Grateful not to have to return to Somerset West for the night. The cottage was spacious and clean with all amenities perfect, the staff were fantastic, and the location for me was brilliant. Central proximity, clean, homely and excellent client service by owner and staff. Lovely breakfast. We had a lovely stay, Sue and her staff were welcoming accommodating, will stay there again!. We got everything we needed,very secure location close to shopping and hospitals. Homely environment, great care with really good attendants that care to care. just everything about the place just so reaxing and peacefull. Proximity to shopping and other places we needed to be near. Location and convinence. Breakfast was great. Everything. A warm, quiet country-side experience. not anything. Parking is tight but fine if you have a compact hire car. The heater for the room was not strong enough- caused the period i was there was winter period. weather was cold in the evening nite. N/A. Traffic noise. That I couldn't stay longer! Had a ball there. Will definitely stay again. Lighting in room a bit dark and on the dim side. having to leave. Very few rooms. You need to book early in order to get them. That we couldn't stay longer. :P. Room was a bit hot. Bigger bathroom. And allocated parking bay. We stayed in the Art room upstairs. To avoid knocking our heads on the ceiling which is very low, we cannot stand up to take a shower.
