  The most wonderful welcome to an amazing city. The pension is right in the citadel and is the perfect start to see all the important sites. The hotel room felt warm, cosy and unique. I arrived at night, climbing the icy steps to the citadel (probably nicer in th - This is a gem of a pension built into the old fortified walls of Sighisoara. The owner surpassed himself in terms of hospitality. Full of good advice about what to see in the area, and on where the best places to eat were. We followed his advice and had dinner at Ferdinand's down the steps below the clock tower rather than in the old village itself where prices were a lot higher and geared to the tourist market. We definitely recommend if you travel by car (about 2 km from the old citadel).
