I liked all of it - this is a quirky, little hotel which has the best location - 10 minutes from main station and 2 minutes from Anne Frank's house. Small room but everything you need, including a little fridge, tea and coffee and a complimentary drink when you arrive. Very friendly, efficient staff. We stayed at the Clemens for three nights in November and enjoyed everything about our stay. Great location - we walked everywhere. When arriving in Amsterdam, we walked from the station to the hotel about 10 minutes but did take a cab to the airport when we left; the hotel made arrangements for us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone (not to anyone with cat allergies). The location of the hotel was brilliant, and everything of interested close by. The staff were really nice and helpful. When we checked in, the desk agent, named Naddy (sp?) was great. He made sure room was going to accommodate the four of us and all our luggage, and although he warned us of the huge climb to the top floor, we would most likely be happiest there. I imagine he was right. Although it was an attic-like room, it was suitable. Location of apartment is probably the best feature...also nice to have the breakfast food in the mornings.
