The cake for my husband's birthday was also a very nice gesture! They were happy to give us lots of information on Amsterdam and anything we needed to make our stay pleasant and special. Hoofddorp is okay if you're looking for a cheaper alternative to Amsterdam, but there is nothing locally. This is a business hotel in a business park.   We picked this because of the price and because we drove up from Brussels. Parking in the inner city is very difficult.Great help from the owners beforehand and when we got there. We'll appointed, excellent facilities including a fridge full of beer & spirits. For a group of guys on a football trip this was heaven. Nice wee touches like brollys being available.I wouldn't hesitate using the apartment again - Monica and her husband were excellent hosts. The house was stocked with drinks and groceries and though it was not free I felt that the prices were fair. Location was quiet and 5 mins walk from the nearest tram which took about 20 mins to the centre of town. We were a group of 5 and everyone in the group was impressed at the value for money. We will definitely be back.

The bar is nice and the prices are only a little above usual Amsterdam prices. Once again though Accor Hotels have let themselves down with the telvision services.   Stillhet og go service - We liked almost everything about this hotel. THe staff was very freindly, the interiour was great, the room was nice and clean, it worked well for peopole with their own car since the parking was cheap compared to most of Amsterdam. So good hotel if you got your own car, but find something closer if not.
