The hotel is fantastic, the decor stunning and each room is totally individual, the terrace is lovely with a great view of the beach and the staff could not have been nicer. -

From the first moment we arrived the owner and his staff made us feel very welcome and we really felt at home immediately.
The decoration and service in this Ryad is fantastic down to the very last little detail.
We got shown a second alternative room which turned out to be a suite without asking or any extra cost.

Ryad Watier was an amazing B&B. Large, spacious and nicely-decorated
rooms! Jean Gabriel, the owner, was so outgoing, friendly and
accommodating. He was very helpful when my boyfriend had a fever.
Additionally, the staff is very friendly and helpful and dinners are top-
quality. Essaouira was our favorite city, although a bit more touristy
than other Moroccan cities, the beach has great watersports and lots of
activities and great restaurants. We really enjoyed our time at Ryad

We had a very warm welcome and were given a free city map with excellent
suggestions for restaurants. We had a nice private room for three people
with a little balcony and the wifi was great. In short, we had a great

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, they made us feel like we were at home. The riad was beautiful, modern and clean but had a traditional feel to it. We would stay again if we have the opportunity. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and it was nice to feel like the only people in the riad (private). Riad was perfectly located to everything in Essouria. Annie was exceptionally hospitable and friendly and made for a perfect host at Dar el Paco.
The Riad itself was wonderful and the room was comfortable and clean with a large kitchen and comfortable dining area for breakfast or reading and chatting to other guests if you wished to do so.

The hotel is in a perfect location to explore the medina and not far from the beach. It was very easy to find! Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. The power shower was hot which was amazing after a week of cold showers elsewhere. We were made to feel really welcome when we arrived. Would definitely stay again! Essaouira is beautiful and a refreshing change to the craziness of Marrakesh!

shade. The room was nice, simple & clean. One thing to note is
coming from the beach you have to go into the medina to get to it (not
quite clear on the map) but then it is in a good location 2mins from the
Main Street. -

It was fantastic I got upgraded to a suite, my windows opened directly
onto the sea. I could here the waves crash and seagulls and wind. The
staff were lovely, the breakfast was great. It really had the wow
factor, pictures don't do it justice. Breakfast on the roof
terrace was fantastic, with the odd seagull landing on the window
nagging for food.

Dar Assalama was my favourite of the two places we stayed during our 8 days stay in Morocco. It was peaceful, comfortable and perfect for four days in Essaouira. The hotel staff were very helpful at all times. It's an approximate 4 minutes walk to the market area. The view from the terrace is wonderful. The room we stayed in was big and lovely. My wife wants to go back, I'm sure we will one day!

Our little apartment was so nice, with a little view of the beach and Mogador, and just the right size for the two of us.
if you like to sunbath and don't want to go to the beach, they have a big big terrace. And a perfect place to follow the sun rise in the morning or go down in the evening.
Clean, did anyone say clean? This place was spotless. And I really mean spotless. A quiet little place with no drunk people.
Good beds clean towels everyday. They even did my washing-up.

The location was good and it was very easy to find the hotel. The staff
was very friendly - they gave us very accurate information about the
town (shopping, restaurants, sightseeing). We also liked the breakfast
on the nice roof terrace. And the wifi network was much better then in
our 5-star hotel in Marrakech!! It was very good value for money!

The rooms were very comfortable, cleaned daily and the bathroom was well positioned with a walk in shower. The roof terrace where breakfast was served provided good views over the medina, whil ethe breakfast itself was one excellent. The staff were all friendly and always willing to help or answer questions. A great stay.
