  Excellent location close to the beach and 5th Avenue restaurants etc but not noisy. Spacious very well equipped apartment with full maid service if required. Friendly and helpful staff.   Gorgeous location, right on the beach. Units all have thatched palm roofs and minimal amenities (no phone, internet, TV, etc.) although Internet access is available at the bar and in the lobby. Makes for a very relaxing and romantic setting. Our unit was beachfront, we went to sleep lulled by the sounds of the surf. Our plan included breakfast... hva folk sier » and either lunch or dinner - the breakfasts were great, the dinners a little more variable but still mostly good. Meals served buffet-style with one - The location is fantastic. Best on the Playa del Carmen. Wake up and go to sleep with the sound of the surf: in your own hammock on your own little patio, if you choose. The bungalows are a very good idea but are in need of renovation. The good news is, the whole place is being renovated and ready by the end of 2014. Go then. No Tv, no phones and occasional internet permit total relaxation. Complimentary waters every day.   BREAKFAST WAS AMAZING. Very good selection breakfast buffet including Mexican / Continental / American choices. Really sets you up for the day. Surroundings are lovely as much of the original wildlife in the hotel's plot of land has been left in tact. Trees, flowers, iguanas, birds. Very pretty. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. - The bungalows are in a splendid garden, like a jungle. They have terraces where you can stay in the hamac or armchair and enjoy the garden and shadow while reading a book. The beach is very close and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is rich with plenty of types of food and juices from which you can choose. I liked almost everything.
