Location was A1 as it is located to the right of the Kyoto station,
and if you look carefully, you will spy a little lane - can use this as a short-cut. It is a 7min walk to/from the station. Bus terminal also close by. Kind staff will also retain your luggage overnight if needed. Value for money hotel.
We travelled through Japan and it was definitely the best hotel we stayed in.
It was very close to Kyoto Station, just few steps.
The staff was the best ever: all of them speak English, they were always courteous, smiling...they were great!. alle vurderinger »
Great location being next to the train station and major bus station so you can get around to the millions of tourist areas easy. Big cab rank and cheap ride back from Gion after dinner.

Very friendly staff who are very polite & helpful
Wifi available in hotel lobby & hotel room.
Great position near the train station, very clean and very kind staff (even with touristic informations). The hotel was also very cheap.
Great location just across the street from Kyoto station. Comfortable western style bed with nice city view (at least on 9th floor).
Very close to Kyoto Station-- about a 2-minute walk. Room adequate, larger than most business hotels. Very clean, friendly staff.
close to station. Also bus stops to gardens and temples. Quiet even though close to station not seedy like some station hotels.
It is very convenient to the railway - easy to see a shortcut, ands the hotel is fabulous.

The hotel is close to Kyoto Station by train travel was easy. The hotel is close to shopping malls easily done.
Good location, helpful staff, clean rooms.
The location is excellent.
Near Kyoto Station.
Accessible.
The closeness to the main railway station.
No negative points at all.
Hardish bed, bit dated ex rooms but for the price this was totally ok.
The room was very small and the beds very short but we understood that the Japanese standard.
A bit hard to find.
Nothing to dislike about this hotel. It is excellent.
- Room space is good, HOWEVER the bathroom size if you're tall is definitely a problem. I´m 1,90 tall and the bathroom size is exactly this height. For me the shower area was very tight.
- Breakfast very expensive (1,790 yen). I ate everyday in Starbucks at Central Station paying 790 yen.
The bathroom was really tiny and there was not way really to control the temperature in the room.
If staff could speak English, it would be more convenient for English speaking tourist.
Limited WiFi to a small lounge area. Very small bath.
No wi go in room only available in the lobby.expensive breakfast.
no free wifi for the rooms, but it's something you can live with if you have a laptop.
Bathroom was tiny....
inadequate wi-fi.
WiFi connection is problematic to access everyday of my 3 day-stay! 10 minute limit is too short. Weak connection.
smoke odor in the room.
small room, wifi was only in lobby and only for 10 minutes!.
small room-no view-.
No water in freeze.
The wifi facilities. Most hotels that I stayed in Japan do not limit the time for serving the wifi. The time limit & steps in accessing the wifi is not user friendly. If you want to provide a service, please do it wholeheartedly.
The room is too small. Could not lay open the suitcases.
The rooms did not have internet.
We had to go to at the lobby to the internet when needed. The lobby was too small. A sight not seen any windows.
A bit overpriced.
At the room hotel dont have wifi, only at the lobby hotel.
The room was very very noisy when the wind was blowing. I checked to
make sure the window was properly closed, but there was still a lot of
wind noise coming into the room.
1.Rooms are very small, especially the bathroom.
2. Room has no Internet service.
No wi-fi for phones and iPads after first 10 minutes. No way to print
boarding passes etc. Unhelpful staff. Unacceptable for a big
international hotel in a big city in Japan.
