  Absolutely loved it. The owner, Matteo came and met us at Rialto Bridge, from there it was a few minutes walk to the hotel. St Marks square was just a few minutes walk too. We were upgraded from out triple room (on the canal, which was delightful) to two very large adjoining rooms on the canal, with a double length balcony! It was stunning. There are um - The experience of staying here was excellent even before we arrived! As we were arriving really late into Venice, Matteo assured us it was no problem to meet us at San Marco vaporetto and walked us to the B&B! A nice touch so late at night! The B&B was perfectly located just a few minutes walk from St Marks square and less than 10 from Rialto bridge - generally close to everything we wanted to see and do as a tourist!   The Ca Del Giazzo was great. This was our first time visiting Venice. The owners of the apartment met us at the Rialto Bridge, and escorted us to the apartment. This was great because Venice is very confusing and we would not have found the apartment without their assistance. Paulo the owner stopped by to see how were doing and he brought us wine and break - 1. Apartment is very nice, charming and comfortable. 2. Great location, Gate to the building is just a few meters from a pretty little canal, and bedroom window overlooks the canal (though view isn't great). 3. Owner is very nice -- charming and welcoming. Left fruit for us, and some mineral water in the fridge. Gave the kids a present before we left, a yummy chocolate hazelnut pastry.
