My friends and I absolutely loved La Neffola Residence. The location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk from the city center of Sorrento due to the exclusive exit and entrance which is provided to the guests of the residence. The garden is beautiful with lots of flowers and orange- and lemontrees in front of the residence. The building of the residence reminded us of the remainings of an old castle and is really pleasant with everything you may need during your stay included (from a toaster to .

The staff could not have been more helpful, we got lost on the way from Naples airport and the manager stayed back to settle us into the Residence after midnight. We really felt welcomed and enjoyed the quiet serenity of the gardens. It is pleasant stroll to the centre of town and down to the port. Its was a treat to watch the grapes being pressed, then to drink their brand of wi. Piero and his staff are brilliant - very friendly and helpful. The place was peaceful and we're glad it wasn't right in the centre. The fishing port just down the steps from the residence is well worth a visit. We would definitely recommend staying here if you go to sorrento. It wasn't our favourite town in Italy but well located for trips to Pompeii etc. We loved our stay at La Neffola. The apartment was in a lovely building, nestled in a beautiful grove of lemon and orange trees and a variety of flowers. From the balcony we could see Mt. Vesuvius, and it was a very quick walk into the heartbeat of Sorrento for eating, shopping and exploring. Truly splendid-you will not be disappointed. An old villa with all the modern facilities, located in a traditional Sorrento's garden with lemon trees and palms, with a splendid terace overlooking the Naples bay and Vesuvius. Even though it took some time to recognize the sign outside of the place, we got there safely (the entrance is hazardous especially because of the road). The room was ok, clean with a refrigirator and electric kettle and stove. The place is 10 minutes walk of main piezza and the great thing here was the free parking. Neffola residence was lovely but we didn't fall in love with sorrento itself. Doesn't feel very authentic as there are more tourists than locals. The Neffola is undoubtedly in the best place though - hidden away from most of the crowds. Our only dislike was the lack of wi-fi. However, our 3g reception worked very well in all parts of the apartment, so it wasn't an issue. No free wifi. Sometimes strange smell outside. Gps navigation was difficult and the hotel roads were tight. No WiFi. No service after checking. Unsure who was in charge of the apartment as the office was closed most of the time. We needed information on WiFi access, laundromat etc. and after two days found someone who could help us. This was possibly because we were there in November?. Nothing - it ticked all our boxes. Some of apartments are noisy because of cars. Nothing. None. Too bad the room was downstairs and the feeling was like sleeping Iin a basement. All in all the place is recommended!. It was billed as an appartment for four. It was good for two (but pricey) with a possibility of three if one accepted a bed in the small hall/dining room. There was no staff on duty when we tried to check out, no one mentioned it was in a camping park, and very cold.
