  All staff in the hotel were amazingly helpful. Their knowledge of the local area was really useful. The hotel is in a great location for historical sites. Easy to find and with it's own parking, it is an ideal location to explore the city of Siracusa. The Rooftop pool is a great way to relax.   The Hotel Livingston is on the edge of the island of Ortigia. When you eat in the fourth-floor hotel dining room, the windows on three sides look largely over the Mediterranean, but also over old rooftops. It's easy to walk to anywhere in Ortigia from there. Or just to swim in the sea and sunbathe on the rocks. - We really loved the Hotel Livingston's neighborhood. Walking was a delight, there is a terrific gourmet Locanda nearby. Our room was large with two sets of French doors looking onto the street and to the sea and swimming rock! The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.

  What a great hotel! The sea view from our room was spectacular! Hotel is really in the heart of it all. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some have commented on the lack of parking but the reality of the tiny island of Ortygia is that driving the narrow streets *barely* wide enough for 1 car is a challenge. If you must drive (we did!) there is cheap ... hva folk sier » parking within 10 mins walk. Get a small car! - Great hotel, very elegant, classy, updated and decorated with excellent taste. Fantastic location, spacious room and a view from the 3rd floor up. Breakfast is an experience on its own with wide variety and high quality, served on the terrace restaurant with a breathtaking view. Free parking just outside. Flawless.

  The hotel appears well managed with a particular emphasis on staff's friendly and professional attitude towards guests. It's a pleasure do be dealing with the management as well and the language capabilities of the receptionists (plus their skills and local knowledge) is second to none. We will be back. - Friendly courteous staff, nice continental breakfast (lovely almond granita and good coffee), great location - very close to both Ortigia island (where all the good restaurants were) and main sights in Syracuse town including the excellent Greek theatre and archaeological park, cheap public car park only 2 mins walk from hotel in Via Bengasi.   Such an amazing place! Wonderful hotel, beautiful pool and lounge-garden. Very nice modern design with still a lot of atmosphere. Huge breakfast with lots of savory and sweet dishes. Dinner menu is good (would only have liked a bit more choice for starters). Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Room (4 persons) was great, with a downstairs ar... hva folk sier » ea with 2 single beds and an upstairs 'master bedroom'. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom has the best rain-shower ever. Highly recommended! - We had the most incredible time here. The location is great - close enough to the nearby beaches and towns to do day (and night) trips. The pool and surrounding area with orange trees, lounges and day beds is so peaceful and relaxing that we didn't want to leave. On top of this the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. A special mention must also go to the owner who really went out of her way to make our stay something to remember. We are already planning our next visit!!
