  Myself and wife had a long drive to the hotel that day, having booked only the day before as we needed a location close to the ferry across to Messina. It was refreshing to be greeted by the owner whom was only too helpfull and friendly, and his daughter also.   This hotel was a perfect location for walking on the beach and exploring the town. The decor of the lobby and the beautiful breakfast room made me feel like I was staying in an expensive hotel, but the price was very affordable.   Unbelievably nice place, I'm already dreaming of returning. We got a beautiful and spacious room with sweeping views over the centro storico of Chianalea di Scilla and the sea. Nice breakfast, free wifi, friendly service. Just perfect, we loved every minute of our stay.   Absolutly everything! We´ve travelled a lot and NEVER been treated in such an outstanding way! We loved to stay with Nella & Michele, as they were much more like a hostfamily than mere managers of the B&B. Great room, an even greater view an everything wax extremely clean and nicely decorated. The owner/manager was extremely kind and helpful, the rooms were sparkling clean, and breakfast fantastic. This B&B is located in Scilla, which is a tranquil but lively small town/village

No attention to detail spared with a great location, a stones throw from the beach and friendly staff.The room was tastefully decorated and was more like a 5 star establishment.   The owner is fantastic, he's obviously into his food, and the breakfast was lovely, as well as the location sitting on the little cobbled street below listening to the waves. The rooms are huge and the top one has a lovely view of the sea, the food was so good, we didn't need the fully equipped kitchenette.   The host was really nice and went to pick us up directly in Scilla, since we had trouble finding the place. He gave us a room with sea view in La Locandiera instead of la Piccole Grotte (I think it is the same owner), but that's probably because we traveled in low season. Room was very nice, breakfast very good and not standard (which is great).
