- very friendly staff, including the owners - everyone was extremely service-oriented
- the pool was AMAZING; view of the rolling Tuscan hills was gorgeous
- was a little hard to find but received excellent directions via the phone (when the Hotel called us to ask if we were ok making our way there!)

Overall, very upscale hotel under new ownership (one year). Comfortable rooms, excellent staff, and new upscale restaurant. Chef Guido is outstanding; meals were gourmet. Hotel is very well located for exploring Tuscany, Florence and Sienna. Highly recommend once you find the place.

Great location, sea view. We were surprised to get that for the price we paid (in June). The hosts really did their best to make our stay pleasant and provide us all we need. Breakfast was pretty good (for the Italian cost). -

It's a family-run hotel, very nice people, helpful and welcoming (they even sent me back personal items I forgot in the room). Very family-friendly, quiet location (you need to have a car - easy to park), with essential amenities (free wifi and working!), nice breakfast.

We loved everything! We had 3 rooms during our 2 day stay. Hotel staff was unbelievably helpful. They made our museum reservations, gave us detailed info about Florence, and even tried to get our rental car delivered to the hotel instead of the airport. The rooms were so perfectly Tuscan that I felt like I was on a movie set. Breakfast was fabulous

He can recommend everything from the best gellato to resturants, siteseeing, shopping. He gives you his cell phone number so you can contact him with questions while you are out. Snacks water, etc. are available in the dining room all day, as well as cocktail beverages.

Hotel was perfect for a relaxing weekend and the surroundings were magnificent as was the 3 tiered pool. We arrived at lunchtime with 2 hungry teenagers and though the kitchen opened in the evening the staff put together a lovely cold lunch. We have lived in Italy for 2 years and this is definitely one of my favorite places. -

The staff we're nice and obliging. 24 hour reception and no curfew. The rooms were great and kept quite tidy. Bathrooms were kept very clean which was nice. Free wi-fi was awesome. If you want to spend your last day exploring- you can leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up later so you don't have to take them around with you all day.
