Although I was a bit put off by the appearance of the b and b from outside, the room was large, clean and extremely comfortable and the hosts were very helpful. Breakfast was great and featured home made cake and yoghurt. The hotel is literally across the road from the archeological park so is very well situated and there is onsite parking. It is an easy walk into town for dinner and Rita gave us excellent and helpful recommendations. Thoroughly recommended.

View of Greek ruins from balcony. A 5 minute walk to the ruins or to just a few minutes longer to the Mediterranean. A must request is for them to reserve a table at Boomerang for a multi-course meal of fresh, locally caught fish. The meal is never the same. Vincenzo and Rita were very welcoming and helpful. Location is excellent for exploring the ruins of Selinunte (2 minute walk) and only a short walk to the beach and restaurants of Marinella. Bedroom and bathroom well equipped and spotlessly clean. The location is good with access to the seaside and to the Temple site nearly opposite. The bedroom we stayed in was generous in size and was spotlessly clean. Good parking and access from the road. Driving in Sicily is a whole new perspective on following road rules....others usually don't and are not very appreciative of those who do. In every community and even at historical sites litter is a major problem. Trash gathers in locations and is not well collected leaving it to scatter in the wind. Like all buildings in the mediteranean, sound transmission can be a problem. I found sleeping very easy, but my wife thought there was disturbance from traffic noise. But hey, thats the world we live in. No bath towels were available as guests were expected to use the towelling bath robes instead which personally I did not like. Hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom were broken. Indoor only option for breakfast. Absolutely nothing. Nothing. Nothing. This isn't the B&B's fault, but there are very few (acceptable) restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast was very simple. nothing. we got the room just behind the reception. was a bit noisy. Fairly basic facilities. Quite a way from the town. Be aware that the hotel is in Selinunte, not in the town of Castelveltrano as the address indicates. breakfast. Bathroom needs some minor maintenance.....towel bars etc. Water smells, but probably not the hotel's fault. very bad soundproofing, therefore potentially very noisy. breakfast could be better. Wifi did not work. Bathroom smelt musty.
