  La Corte degli Angeli is a fantastic hotel, in the very centre of Lucca, in a quiet street. Our room was really big and cosy and with shutters (very important for me, as I need obscurity to sleep. The bathroom was gorgeous, with jacuzzi and TV. Breakfast was also really good. Couldn't have had abetter experience. The room and hotel premises were clean andimpressive. The breakfast buffet had high-quality items, organicproducts and excellent made-to-order cappuccinos and espressos. The foodwas excellent. I would definitely stay here again. The location wascentral. We loved it!

  I was a bit stressed out when we arrived, because we arrived a few hours later than planned. and had to drive down a narrow pedestrian street to reach the hotel.   We were in one of the apartments. The location is amazing. From the lounge/dining area you look out over the Piazza and can enjoy the buzz. There are some pretty good restaurants around, one of which at least does take away (none of them has a view like the apartment). There are good restaurants all around the area; great home made pasta to bring back. Eating in is a delight, as the apartment has a better view than any restaurant. The facilities are fine. It's very clean, there are oodles of towels and the hot water is hot. What more do you want? 5 star hotel it isn't, but value for money it is exceptional. The couple who run it are delightful, and we are now working on a plan to

Large warm pool in a big, lush garden setting. Option to eat outdoors at each meal which we did. The room was a good size, excellent bed and the bathroom was modern with a nice bath.
