  Was our first time in Rome and Townhouse Spagna's location was perfect for sight seeing. We found it a perfect base to just stroll the streets and find all the various monuments at each corner. Townhouse Spagna is located near the Spanish Steps and is a trendy part of town where all the nice boutiques are. Great city living. Lots of options for eating on your doorstep too with a lot - Town House Spagna is conveniently located in an alley right by the Spanish Steps. As soon as I made a last minute booking for same day check in, they called me to make sure I was okay to find the place and provided directions. When we checked in, we were upgraded to a bigger room free of charge which is always a nice surprise. Town House Spagna is a very cute boutique style hotel and has very pretty furnishings. We had a short stay but it was a pleasant one.

  The hosts are very friendly - they gave us maps and a brief introduction of the city of Rome. The hosts stay at the premise too so you feel safe and you can get them whenever you need help. He was very friendly and helpful. He is the face of Italy! :) Do not stress, because of the shared bathroom: It is not like a bathroom in a hostel, but it is like at home.   Comfy bed and great location - what more do you want from a city break? Really valued the fact our room backed on to a court yard and not a busy road, it meant we could sleep peacefully after a busy day looking at Rome's beautiful sites. It was very easy to get around the city from this location, the buses that stop opposite the entranc - This B&B is charming and the staff are great , they really are kind and helpful. This B&B is situated outside of the city center not very practical if you want to pop in during a long day full of visiting&walking. But with a bus it's some good 15min away from the center area and it stops in front of the hotel.   I liked the fact that the staff was quite proficient in the English Language. There were no communication barriers whatsoever. The location is conveniently located near the Termini Station, which makes for easy access to all the important sites inside the city, no matter if you chose to walk or to take a bus.
