Absolutely fantastic! We have enjoyed ourselves a great deal at the hotel. Perfect location, excellent staff, comfort, view, breakfast, etc. - beyond all praise! I was initially a Venice sceptic but the magic of the place, and in particular this modern hotel, made it truly phenomenal.
The location is perfect. Overlooking the nice streets, just 5 minutes walk

The hotel is just beautiful. It's a three hundred year old Palazzo that has been meticulously restored, with great attention to detail and luxury. This hotel was our favorite from all of our hotels this trip. The location was perfect for walking everywhere and easy access from the water taxi at Rialto bridge....just remember to turn at the Disney store and you'll always find it!
We did eat in the restaurant one night and it was very good. Our waiter was excellent and I'm pretty sure he is the only Italian waiter to have smiled at us our whole trip (no joke!)
We also had a couples massage one evening. Though I would not say it is a "spa"

Breakfast and only 2 or 3 m walking to San Marco - The hotel was charming, bright and full of character. We stayed in the Junior Suite which had a jacuzzi, a reasonably priced mini-bar, a flat screen TV and the room was decorated in a quintessentially Italian manner. The hotel staff was very polite and extremely helpful. The hotel room is spacious and grand, quite medieval venetian style. The hotel gardens and the surroundings are fascinating for an early morning stroll. Do eat in the hotel even though it's expensive as their executive chef menu is something to behold. I will always remember the valentine's day
