Silvia is a great host --thank you, Silvia! She even made us a tray of breakfast eatables (granola, milk, yogurt, orange juice, a variety of packaged cookies and melba toast) the night before because we were catching a train very early the next morning. The decor - the "watch" theme of the hotel was very well executed and permeated all aspects of design, even down to the taps and mirrors.
The location is ideal - a few minutes walk down the interesting streets and alley of central Florence.
The room was cosy, the bed & linen first class.
Buffet breakfast on the top floor (lifts available!) had a great view over Piazza Sant Maria Novella, and was plentiful.
