I decided on it after weeks of online searching and studying of comments made by guests and we were both thrilled with how it came out to be. It is one of the very few hotels where what you find when you get there is all that the site describes and even better. The honeymoon offer has great value for money. - Our room was excellent. It was bright and pleasant with a lovely view. The front desk staff were also first rate. Every one of the several staff members there was terrifically helpful--from arranging for private car tours to recommending restaurants. Our stay in Florence was greatly enhanced by the well qualified and very kind staff.

  First of all, the location couldn't be better. It is located about 2 blocks south of the Duomo, and 2 blocks north of Ponte Vecchio bridge and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted. There are city buses, and unbelieveably one of them comes right down the narrow street with a stop right in front of the B&B, so coming from the train statio... hva folk sier » n with suitcases was no problem (1.5 euro bus ticket). The staff was excellent, and helpful in suggesting sights not to miss and how to get to them - Bruno showed us the most wonderful hospitality, we had a fantastic stay with him in Florence! He helped us book a lovely restaurant and was endlessly helpful with where to go and what to see in his home town. The B&B is his home and is run with warmth & love. The rooms are clean, comfortable & simple. There are tea and coffee facilities available at all times and a little mini bar for your use. Location is wonderful, right in the heart, near the Duomo but not at all noisy. Recommen

  Everything was great! From the beginning the staff gave us spot on information to reach the apartment, met us their on time and helped carry our lugguge up the 3 flights of stairs! Then spent time going through a map showing us the location of the attractions, good restaurants and places not to miss. We had 2 terraces, off the kitche - We just loved this quaint little apartment. Although small all that was required was provided for and in good working order. Washing machine was also easy to use. In fact we enjoyed getting a bit of taste hearing about some Italian domestic life while sitting on the balcony. Due to road closures because of flooding in our area of the USA, we missed our flight to Florence and arrived 2 days late. Our expectations were definitely exceeded! The breakfast was the best we h - This was a super hotel in an awesome location for Florence. The rooms were large by European standards and beautiful. Very clean, quiet, comfortable and well priced. The manager of the day, Sebastian, was beyond helpful and even came to get us when we got lost driving in Florence - so the service was above excellent service. Also the breakfasts were super and were very complete with eggs, bacon, fruit and breads. I absolutely would stay there again!

As long you know it is a historical building, so we wouldn't mind to use the staircase to the fourth floor. There is no window to face the plaza so no noise from the crowd at night. You have to take into account that it is located on a fourth flour and there is no elevator: important when you have medium suitcases, and that the reception is open just part time.The location can´t be better
