  Fausto, our host was fabulous. He speaks 4 or 5 languages fluently, is very kind, patient, generous and helpful. We were able to get last minute tickets through him to hear Vivaldi at one of the churches nearby. The location is fantastic, a five minute walk from the "Osbedale Vaporetto stop", which is serviced by the fast and slow boats around the... hva folk sier » Lagoon, as well as the airport water boat, which takes @ 35-40 minutes. The # 4.2 Vaporetto leaves to cruise the islands in the Lagoon directly from - 1. The staff. Nice and friendly. Although not all can speak good English, but they try their best to help. Quick response to my emails. They provided directions to the centre. 2. The breakfast. Not much choices (2 rolls, jam, butter, cheese, 1 croissant, tea/coffee/hot chocolate) but it was OK and quick.   Excellent location and standard of room - delightful quiet part of Venice, very helpful staff - Umberto met us at the vaporetto stop and helped us get our bags to the hotel. The room was gorgeous with beautiful canopied bed and large bathroom all just completed.
