  All considered, the place was terrific. My girlfriend and I got there late and it was dark out (11:30pm). Conveniently near Roma Termini train station, even with all our luggage it was not a problem getting there on foot [with help such as map or person] quickly. Arriving, the staff was very helpful with one person doing our paperwork and the o... hva folk sier » ther marking a map and telling us about places to visit/eat/nightlife/transport/etc. Walking wasn't an issue for us - about 20min to much of Central - The night person at the front desk was fantastic. He helped us get everywhere we wanted to go in Rome with detailed bus and Metro instructions and hand drawn maps. Our room was quiet and secluded off of a lovely courtyard with plants and a fish pond. Three locked doors between the street and our room made us feel secure. Close to so many things!!! Our breakfast was perfect with yogurt, pastries and great coffee. Ham and cheese also available. Many low cost food options nearby.

  The location was fantastic. Just a 5 minutes walk from the nearest metro station and the city bus stops right in front of the door. There is a grocery shop opposite the hostel and a few places to have a good meal. The room was located on the 5th floor. Thus we enjoyed the peace and quiet during our stay. Although the room came with shared bathroom... hva folk sier » , only 2 rooms in the units shared the bathroom. Thus it is almost like your personal toilet. In addition, the bathroom is also very clean. Overall, - excellent combination of price and quality. it's not like the hotel in the classic sense. rather, bed and Breakfast. the hotel offers three rooms for guests. the hostess, an elderly Italian, lives there. speaks only Italian, English communicates her son.
