A 6 star B&B! Conveniently placed and less than 10 minutes walk from the Station. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean, with large balcony, very comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. The balcony overlooked Principe Station and had wonderful city views. The area was quiet and we slept very well. Breakfast was delicious and of excellent quality. Pietro and Cinzia were very kind and accomodating (especially when travel chaos delayed our arrival until midnight). One of the best B&.
alle vurderinger » The location of this B&B is really great - just imagine having out of your balcony the panoramic view to Genova! Though our room actually was the "city view room", there was no problems using the common living room, where we could have our own light supper (using of the kitchen is prohibited, but there was no problem to buy some salads and ham in the supermarket) and a glass of vine, overlooking the sunset the hills of Genova and cruise liners arriving to the port. The lady managing this B&. This is one of the most beautiful buildings for a B&B. A little different than most b&b'S.....it is very welcoming, grand and impressive. The couple who own it come to meet you and settle you in. The rooms are beautiful with the most fantastic panaramic views of the old city right across the harbour. A perfect place to say goodbye to my daughter who has moved to Sardinia. Sitting on the balcony in the evening watching the ships sailing away. Thank you to the Villata's who own this lovel. The b+b Domitilla is a 5 to 10 minute walk away from the Genova Príncipe train station.Bare in mind most of it is uphill.It is in a building which is 100 years old approx and has marble floors.My room and the whole apartment has a modern feel with tasteful furnishings and views to die for.Cinzia the host ,prepares breakfast at a time that you nominate.The wifi is free and worked perfectly and there is a small supermarket next to the building.I Was not expecting such wonderful accommodation for . The views from the balcony off of the owner's living room were incredible. The owner of the apartment was lovely and very helpful--obtained train schedule for us, located ATM, etc. She was also very respectful of her guests in every way---not the least bit intrusive. The room and entire apartment were immaculate. The breakfast was simple but delicious, and the owner set a lovely breakfast table from which we could see the beautiful views. The building was gorgeous and very close to the train . Piera was the Lady who was in charge of welcoming us in this gem. We stayied for only one night to take a cruise in the following day and it was a great experience. The B&B is right in front of the ships-cruise port (10min Walking). It is part of a historical, amazing and well conserved building that used to be a luxury Hotel in the past. Accomodations are excellent and the room was quiet and clean. Railway Station St. Principe and Metro are just 5min away. B&B Domitilla is within walking distance to the train station, and walking distance to the center of Genoa (Genova). It is inside a gorgeous marble-filled building, complete with a terrace overlooking a beautiful garden. The room was large and modern; extremely clean. The owner was very helpful and served us breakfast in the adjoining kitchen. Great B&B!. The building is ex grand hotel so you will find there excellent interiors. The food store is at the ground floor where you can buy some Italian vines, pasta, cheese and prosciutto. The place is really close to Principe Stazione. I recommend it for those who need to sleep well after good walking inside the Genoa. Beautiful building, a former grand hotel. Beautiful views of Genoa harbor and city. Easy walk from train station. Staying here was fantastic. Cinzia and her sister were very hospitable and friendly. They have it decorated beautifully. Breakfast with a view of the port and city was great. The Miramare Hotel built in 1906 could be compared with any Palace, Exquisite!! What a place to stay. We loved it. The B&B is in an old hotel, it must have been a wonderful 6 star hotel, the entrance hall the corridors leading to the converted apartments are most impressive. The B&B is one of these apartments. Great views albeit over the station, spacious accommodation. Would recommend. Easy and friendly arrangements to access the property property is brilliant with tremendous views and lovely facilities genoa is fascinating with many palaces we were able to walk yo the cruise terminal after walking to the accomodation from the train- how convenient !. Everything! Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The building is early 1900's but beautifully modernized. The decor is a wonderful mix of antique and modern, beautiful view over harbor. Our host suggested a day trip to Santa Margherita and we enjoyed that a lot. The accommodate and service was very friendly and personal. The staff had a lot of time for you and couldn't do enough to make sure that you had every thing you needed and was comfortable. The location was conveniently located to the main railway station. The apartment is in a magnificent building just above the stazione principale. Easy to walk everywhere, and it was great to be able to park in the building. The apartment itself is light and clean and very well equipped. Cynthia is a great hostess!. This B and B is located in one of the most beautiful buildings in Genova. It is in the historical center and thus perfectly located for sightseeing. The room is comfortable, safe, clean and very nicely decorated with art. Breakfast was very nice. The location is amazing and the place is really cosy and luxury. It's situated near the aquarium so it's really the perfect place to be when in Genoa!. The hosts are so sweet. The location is really good. You are about a 15 min walk into the main town but up on a hill over looking the harbour. The fact that one has to walk up hill with a heavy suitcase. We liked everything! The private bathroom is across the hall from the bedroom, and the shower was very small, but those things did not bother us. If you feel uncomfortable staying in someone else's apartment, then you should book a hotel and not a B&B. Not that I didn't like but the rooms are not in front of the sea. There is a view but it is from the Train Station and a partial and lateral view of the ocean. Breakfast very simple. Nothing!. Nothing. The walk to the Domitilla with luggage was a little much, we suggest taking a taxi. Going out and coming back walking was fine and not a problem. It was just the first time arriving was a little exhausting with you luggage. The location isn't easy to find, even with Sat Nav. Although the owner sent instructions, unless you knew the area quite well there are of limited help. Combine this with the fact you are asked to specify your time of arrival as the proprietor isn't on site, getting lost isn't really an option! There are not many local restaurants. Nothing'. I liked everything about this B&B. I would stay here again. I stayed on the third floor. Next time I would try to get a place on the 5th floor. I think the view is better and there is a little sitting room that can be shared with other guests. The location was not so nice. It was not in a nice neighborhood in Genova (being close to the station) and it was not easy to get there with the car. No negative points!. Very difficult to find. Also, parking is an issue. Not close to restaurants.
