Nothing was too much bother for Angelo and his wonderfully attentive staff. This was a two night stay and we were able to get the 36 bus from the station in floence to via volterrana, galluzo and walk from the church to la fatterossa. It is about 10 mins walk and once you pass the bridge take the first right turn up a liitle lane. There is a pub and shop on the corner. It was easy to have dinner in local restaurants as they were located in the vicinity of the hotel as was the shopping area and tourist attractions like the statue of David. This is an excellent hotel for a couple traveling with the small toddler. One of the few in a city such as Florence. This is mostly to the common kitchen (2 of them) freely accessible . And since it is only 8 rooms it is never crowded. So you can prepare a meal for a baby at any time

Some reviews indicate this hotel is slightly out of the way. Its not. Its a pleasant 5 to 10 minute walk from the main attractions. I would describe this hotel as 'boutique' - only 5 or 6 rooms all on the ground floor. Staff were friendly and helpful and can assist with booking tickets for the main attractions.

It had been newly refurbished so everything was clean and felt like a hotel of a higher rating. It was perfect for my friend and I who are students, we stayed for two nights, we were primarily concerned with budget when booking and were pleasantly surprised with how lovely it was. The breakfast was also far above our expectations. This is a great place to stay if you are on a budget. It was perfect for our needs.

Our original accommodations were not available for the five of us, so they put three of us in the junior suite which was UNBELIEVABLY beautiful! We all felt like we got to sleep in a palace room for the night. Just an amazing night. What a pleasure! The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. Wouldn't have changed a thing!
