Good location in Florence. Easy to get around. Good value for the 4 of us traveling together. Decent breakfast.
A bit difficult to find.
It is centrally located and within walking distance from station , signora piazzas etc.
You have to climb 53steps to reach property. So, once you go up you really have to pull yourself out. The bathroom is tiny and if you are healthy you may not even take shower comfortably.

A little hard to find as only a small sign outside. You have to walk up 2 flights of stars to get to the Hotel as there is no lift.

The hotel was intimate, friendly, and the very unigue decor was fun for the kids. It met our needs and had the European feel we wanted. Opening our bedroom window and seeing the Duomo down the street set the mood for our Florence experience. Attitude makes all the difference. We were like children in a candy store so even challenges (like the obscure hotel sign that makes it hard to find and the many flights of stairs with luggage to reach the lobby) all made for laughs and memories.
My teenage son says he didn't like it when the hostess squeezed his cheeks after he thanked her for breakfast. :)

Very nice location,just 5mins from train station,everything is within walking diastance. The room is beautifully decorated,very Florance style.Even with a TV. Nice breakfast everyday. The staff is exetremely friendly and helpful.They clean the room tidyly every day. Everything is perfect. No.1 in all the places I've been staying in Italy for 10 days.

When booking, I failed to notice this hotel is on the 2nd floor! 53 stairs to climb and carry your case as there is no lift! Fortunately hotel staff very kindly offered to help us. The shower is extremely small with the tap sticking into the middle of the shower!

The 54 steps to Reception. These should have been mentioned. Older people with heavy suitcases really struggled. The Abaco is more pension than hotel - it's very dark and very dated.
Its vert well located. Like 5 minutes from the main station and it is connected to every place through it.
The breakfast is poor and the cleaning its not too good. But for the price its ok.
