  We were realy Enjoyed and felt the warm attitude of the staff, the concern and the caring. The hotel is simple and for couples who want a combination of comfort with magic, not those who want to stay all day at the hotel, but those who want to travel, its location superb!! We were backpacking Europe and decided to stay at La Scogliera. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are so clean, and the view of the sea is spectacular. Delicious breakfast and made-to-order coffees, and the hotel lent us bikes to get to and from the train station. Just a train ride away from Cinque Terre, and, as recommended by hotel staff, Santa Margherita and Portofino. Lovely stay at La Scogliera; highly recommend.

  We had some great experiences there with the locals and the staff was very accommodating in guiding us through maps to find our destination. It helped that the owner and staff was able to speak english enough to understand us Americans. Of course it was rather comical when my husband and I saw the sign that said lift and assumed that was what they... hva folk sier » meant we were supposed to put our luggage on talk about laughter as it started up the belt along side the hotel, lets just say that's not what they m - Friendly staff, good location (near beach, railway/road) easy to go both North (Genova, Portifino) and South (Cinque Terre). Although the railway was only 3-400 m from the hotel, noise was never a problem. Good parking facilities, reasonable breakfast.

  The hotel was located near the main street and close to the beach. We had a free place for our car. The breakfast was good and various. The staff was very helpful with everything we asked for. They were always polite and friendly. We were pleased by the trips by boat offered by the hotel.   Our room was very clean. The price is logical as compared with another offers of the Italian Riviera. There were no problems with a toilette room in the corridor. The owners are very very nice and smiling people. The location is perfect - very quiet place with a nice view on the hill. The location was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach or drive to outside eateries.
